Frames and an On-Site Lab, Not a Second Trip

Our optical is in the same office as the exam rooms, with frames in stock and ABO-certified opticians who fit and adjust your glasses. Many lenses are cut in our own lab, so you are not driving across town or waiting on an outside shop.

Denali KidCare for Children

Denali KidCare is Alaska's Medicaid program for children and teens, and we accept it. Children's eye exams matter more than most parents expect, because a child who cannot see the board clearly usually does not say so. They assume everyone sees the way they do.

We see children ages 5 and older. An exam checks how clearly your child sees at distance and up close, how well the eyes work together, and the health of the eyes, and it screens for lazy eye. See our pediatric eye exams page for what a visit looks like.

- A photo ID for the adult on the visit

- Your current glasses or contact lenses

- A list of any medications you take

Do you take Denali KidCare for my child?

Yes. We accept Denali KidCare and see children ages 5 and older. Bring your child's card and any glasses they already wear.

Do I need a referral to be seen?

For most eye exams you can call us directly at 907-561-1167 and schedule. If your plan requires a referral, our front desk will tell you when we check your coverage.
