We are in network with Medicare, Medicaid (including Denali KidCare), Premera Blue Cross, Federal BCBS, Moda Health, TriWest, and the VA Community Care Network. We bill VSP directly, and we can bill some out-of-network plans, including United Healthcare and Meritain, for you.

You don't need to know the name of your condition to book a visit. Tell our front desk what you're noticing, whether that's blurry vision, dry or itchy eyes, or something that just doesn't feel right, and we will schedule the right kind of appointment with Dr. Lamigo or Dr. Stemmle.

Can you see me the same day for an eye problem?

We offer same-day care for urgent eye problems like injuries, infections, and sudden vision changes. Call 907-561-1167 as early in the day as you can and tell us what's going on.

Do you accept my insurance?

We are in network with Medicare, Medicaid, Premera Blue Cross, Federal BCBS, and the other medical plans listed on our Insurance page. We also commonly bill VSP, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare and others, even where we are out of network. Eye exams for glasses usually go through your vision plan, while medical visits for problems like dry eye, glaucoma, or infections usually go through your medical insurance. Our front desk can check your coverage before your visit.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Bring your glasses or contact lenses, a list of your medications, and your insurance cards. If your eyes may be dilated, sunglasses help on the way home.
